Projects are defined and scoped, a development team identified, and Project Plans are detailed, to present the process from start to finish. BI Manager, which is custom designed for Cognos development projects, provides a framework to define Server and Software specifications, multiple project plans, Business Requirements, report consumers, and metadata documentation. Along with organizing and storing Cognos project related and costing information, there are over 85 reports online and available for reporting, tracking, and analysis for every aspect of the deployment. These reports have been developed based on over 13 years of Cognos consulting experience, practiced in over 100 companies.
SNCL is capable of providing custom development in a number of different areas and disciplines. SNCL can provide custom apps development in CognosScript, MDL scripting, Javascript, HTML, and XML, or a combination thereof, to provide Cognos solutions that are not "out of the box". Applications Development resources are provided, with all the characteristics of a software development effort: Prototyping, full development, QA testing, implementation, full documentation, and support.
SNCL will cater each engagement to the technical, corporate, and organizational requirements needed for Cognos success. Staff Augmentation is performed at an hourly/daily rate. Project work can be structured with a fixed/variable pricing and work arrangement, to maximize utilization of time and resources. Tactical and/or strategic resources can be provided to work within established project processes and plans. BI architectural resources can be provided, such as project planning and management.
