09/09/08- We are pleased to announce the release of C7Auditor, which will be replacing the current PPES-IWR Auditor.

Major feature enhancements prompted the new product name. C7Auditor's database is now SQL Server 2005. C7Auditor supports the management of Unix log files for PPES and IWR. The PPES log parser has been enhanced in terms of discerning PPES cube requests from .ppx report views, and from Powerplay client remote requests. The IWR log parser now renames the original log file folder for faster processing. And there is new support for Master data maintenance. Reports/cubes can be excluded entirely from reporting (but not deleted), and they can be grouped in a user defined way. The new software costs $3950. + support.

03/10/08- PPES-IWR Auditor New version is now available. Updates include:

1) The PPES parser was rewritten to capture more information from the logs; 2) The PPES Restore from Backup is now able to handle multiple folders easily; 3) The routine that parses the Dimension line for activity is now able to parse lines of up to 2500 characters (1000 was the previous); 4) better error handling was applied; 5)An IWR Auditor mapping issue concerning the User Classes was resolved. 6) The PPES cube request and session counts are now correct.
