Managed 6 separate project efforts, using 3 other consultants and 3 internal IT employees, and delivered all within a 3 month time frame. Projects used PPES and IWR, with staging tables in db2.
Projects:
1. OEO (Office of Equal Opportunity) and HeadCount - There was a need to build a cube which provided information on Teachers and staff with respect to Ethnicity and Demographics, to assure proper diversity.
2. Division of School Facilities (DSF) needed a flexible powerful, interactive, on demand Web-based reporting environment that will address diverse reporting needs for DSF. Reports were currently being produced in QMF, a SQL based report writer.
3. Human Resources and Center for Recruitment and Professional Development were interested in reporting for tracking recruits. Needed charting, trending analysis, preset reports in Powerplay with key performance indicators.
4. Data Warehouse - Enterprise-wide Data warehouse deployment, presented through the UpFront portal.
3 Major areas were covered by the Data Warehouse project:
1) Staff (OEO, CTAMS, and Administrative)
2) Student Data (DSS data and functionality equivalent, Special Education); and
3) Facilities.
